Co-Founder | CEO
Steve Mercieca is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of QuickLets and Zanzi Homes, the QLZH Group.
“My enthusiasm for new technologies propelled the company to a team of over 500 property specialists in just seven years. “I strongly believe in offering a culture that attracts ‘like-hearted’ people, fuelled by grit and a purposeful drive to give back to society. “My future is brimming with inspiration, however, I’m keen to surprise and not share too much information just yet,” he says.
Founded in December 2013, QuickLets is the largest letting agency on the island of Malta. It has more than 20,000 property owners registered on its system and offers the largest live letting database on the island, providing an efficient and friendly service focused on the client.
Zanzi Homes is the QLZH Group's specialised brand, focusing on the sale of real estate. Launched in April 2015, the company offers a fresh and diverse portfolio of properties to clients.
As synonymous with the QLZH Group, Zanzi Homes is a pioneer in launching new technologies in the Maltese real estate industry. In 2016, it was the first to introduce the use of virtual reality for property tours and viewing. It kept increasing the number of properties viewable in 3D.
Mr. Michael Mercieca is a Malta Warranted, Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Association of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants. Mr. Mercieca also successfully read for both the Diploma in Taxation and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation and for some time sat on the tax committees of both the Malta Institute of Taxation and the Malta Institute of Accountants. Mr. Mercieca is officially licenced in his personal capacity as a Corporate Service Provider (under threshold Class B). He held the position of Senior Manager at Deloitte Malta, originally having joined the firm’s audit practice 14 years earlier.
Fabio has been with Zanzi Homes since April 2017 and oversees the daily running of the brand, together with QuickLets as well as supporting QLC. He is the Secretary General of the QLZH Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the group which mainly focuses on the environment and humanitarian causes. Fabio has a decade of experience in banking, where he held various leadership positions. He consolidated his work experience with a Master's Degree in Leadership and Organisational Psychology from Dublin City University.
“I drive the operational goals of QuickLets and Zanzi Homes and oversee several functions including technological developments, project management, good governance, internationalisation, people experience, employer branding and, up until recently, also marketing,” Fabio Zuccaro asserts.
He attributes the key to any successful operation to the level of focus and attention given to the well-being of the human capital, who he describes as the beating heart of the company.
“Access to growth prospects is essential to bring out the best version of everyone,” he says.
Fabio was seconded to Cyprus to manage the growth of the QuickLets and Zanzi Homes brands on the island for thirteen months, “with prospects of further growth in other jurisdictions later on through the years”. The QuickLets and Zanzi Homes office in Cyprus was successfully set up and launched and then handed over to a local Franchise Owner who operates today.
Chief Marketing Officer
Over the years, I worked as a Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate, telecommunications, automotive and gaming industries,” Chantelle Muscat says.
She joined Zanzi Homes in December 2021, as the Chief Marketing Officer of the Group and is responsible for developing new marketing strategies, generating new business leads and overseeing the marketing department staff.
“Proven in my ability and with past real estate experience to drive innovation and efficiency in all aspects of marketing communications,” Ms Muscat asserts, “my aim is always to utilise all relevant channels to reach out to potential customers by making sound decisions that consistently deliver results.
“In addition, my marketing career in the real estate industry has taught me that it is crucial to have a comprehensive online presence as it helps build confidence in the brand.”
She also believes that supporting all leaders and managers in promoting their franchise offices makes a huge contribution towards achieving the company’s goals. Although each office operates independently, as part of head office management, all offices are supported in reaching their targets.
“Believing that marketing is both an art and a science, I have found that the perfect marketing strategy in all sorts of industries balances creativity and analysis, data, emotions and logic. As I continue to thrive in my career, I have also learnt that good marketing helps to make the company look smart but great marketing helps to make the customer feel smart,” Ms Muscat says.
Paul Trapani Galea Feriol
Head of Sales
Having started in real estate around 2002, following his studies overseas, Paul Trapani Galea Feriol joined the leading high-end property company on the island spending four years there. Having always been fascinated by and interested in the property market, he always worked both with and for various large family projects such as Townsquare, Sliema, as well as on sales of sites from private family estates.
“At the start of 2019, I decided to take up a new adventure as Head of Sales and faced the challenge in bringing Zanzi Homes up to the level that QuickLets, its sister company, occupies in the market.
“The aim is to lead the market on sales also and I’m proud that we have had two years of almost doubling our targets. We have a fast-growing team that is both hungry and driven. We now offer a great service on all forms of property, both residential and commercial, and are currently building a phenomenal sites team too,” he says.
Reuben Cini Reginiano
As general manager, Cini Reginiano will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, customer service, and operations of the Zanzi Homes offices. He will work closely with existing staff to develop and implement strategies that will help Zanzi Homes continue to grow and thrive in the competitive real estate market.
Cini Reginiano will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and developing plans to capitalise on those opportunities. He will also be mentoring the office managers to ensure that they are informed about the business goals and strategies.
Cini Reginiano has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry, having worked in both residential and commercial markets. He has a deep understanding of the market in Malta and is known for his exceptional training skills that will help Zanzi Homes support their office managers and team leaders, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with the top property developers on the island.
Business Development Manager
Christian Ganado has been an active retailer in the Italian, Maltese and Austrian markets for over 20 years. After graduating from the University of Pavia, Christian Ganado successfully oversaw the expansion of a retail business group in Italy and Austria, successfully acquiring the franchise rights of a number of international brands.
Christian and his family have been involved in various Real Estate projects in Malta and overseas, be it in the development of Residential Projects, Commercial Projects and also in the Shopping and Entertainment sectors. Christian is sharing his experience and know-how in various sectors, including the commercial sector, with a particular focus on medium to high-end clients, medium to high-end properties and large-scale projects.
