Zanzi Luxury Homes, the prop-tech luxury real estate brand, has recently sent a sales executive from its company to South Africa in order to promote Malta as a destination to invest in.

 

Establishing links between the two countries, together with a local public relations group, the representative met up with several real estate agencies to discuss future collaborations. Potential clients were presented with Malta’s optimistic credentials, as well as Zanzi Homes’ assorted property portfolio, including an overview of the country’s property market.

 

Malta’s highly attractive features were the fore point of discussion as the sales executive explained how Malta harbours the right economic milieu to meet the demands of the global property investment market. Malta is a safe country, strategically positioned in the middle of the Mediterranean, offering a mild climate, a growing economy and admirable working conditions. Zanzi Luxury Homes is surely looking down a healthy path for foreign direct investment (FDI). According to the National Statistics office, the first six months of 2016 saw FDI flows in Malta go up by €1.9 billion: transport, accommodation and real estate activities accounted for over €17 million of its global economic activity. In fact, the representative offered options that included special designated areas and other residential zones. Local banks were also approached, which would see them introduce clients looking to invest abroad to potentially resettle; as South Africans tend to invest a high proportion of their assets overseas for retirement.
